The City of Brimbank is the second largest municipality in Melbourne, located in the West, and one of the most culturally diverse municipalities. Brimbank City Council is consistently looking for innovative ways to harvest the richness of its diversity and that stories that lie within, investing in creating opportunities and experiences for its people. Their community grants program is just one of many ways they commit to this, and it is through the generosity and vision of this program that the Know Yourself, Show Yourself and Grow Yourself Mental Health Festival 2022 was born.

Headspace Sunshine provides critical mental health, physical health, alcohol and drug services, and study and work support to the young people of our community. With a focus on early intervention, they work with young people to provide support at a crucial time in their lives – to help get them back on track and strengthen their ability to manage their mental health in the future. In everything they do, they aim to meet the evolving and unique needs of young people and those who support them. This includes having a strong presence and heart at our festival, for which we are eternally grateful for.

The Youth Junction Inc creates opportunities for young people of all identities to build resilience and enable  them to made a positive contribution to society. They work with and for vulnerable Victorian young people to support choices in education and employment, and the reduction of disadvantage.  Youth Junction Inc offer critical support through a range of collaborative, innovative and integrated service responses.  They recognise that the needs of this cohort are changing and evolving, and that we will need to evolve with them. They'll be at the heart of our festival to help our young people and we love them for it.

Liz is also a Sunshine local who lives and breathes the essence of our community. Which is what they did for us through their generous donations. We are full of appreciation of Bunnings Sunshine and everything they do to support our magic community.

When a call out was put out to businesses in Sunshine via our friends at the Sunshine Business Association, Sweeney Sunshine responded within seconds, offering to help us get the word out to the community about our festival. Now that is community spirit. Right in the heart that is filled with gratitude. 



We know what movement and fitness can do to support our mental health and wellbeing, which is why we are so grateful to have the support of Anytime Fitness in Sunshine, who are committed to making health happen for our community and are committed to helping them reach their fitness goals. 

Thanks to their generosity in giving us prizes for giveaways, some lucky people  in our community will get to experience their state of the art facilities, and welcoming club with supportive staff and member community.

Marquee Hire Melbourne is a small business based in Sunshine, Victoria, Australia.

With the vision of making outdoor parties hassle-free and effortlessly beautiful for others, Marquee Hire Melbourne was established by a young woman with the help of her hard-working grandfather in the year 2016.

Sunshine Business Association (SBA) has had a long and proud history of representing its 400+ businesses. An affordable rate levy system enables the Association to assist in location promotion, local business development and local community development. They are passionate about community and have been a critical support in connecting our festival to local businesses, promoting our event and providing their knowledge and wisdom, for which we are eternally grateful!

Lombard the Paper People are not only one of Australia's leading suppliers of party goods, and historical revolutionaries in the paper industry, but they also have a passion for supporting community. They have generously donated 200 coffee cups so that our students can develop their barista skills and serve our community throughout the festival while raising important funds for Sunshine Heights Primary School.
